Magical Sweet Savory Dry Rub Spice and Herb Blend


This rub has been perfected over many years of trial and error to bring to you a unique sweet and savory rub that is particularly great with lamb, goat, venison or any other rich tasting meat. This rub does not have any hot spices to mask the flavors but rather it is a blend of special herbs and spices that is designed to come together at your table for a classic, succulent flavor that your family will love.

This recipe hails from the good old USA, but the flavors are quite Mediterranean. Use it in sauces, soups, stews, on meats or anywhere you want to add a distinctive bright flavor. It is a wonderful rub but also makes a great marinade. Place the dry ingredients in a bowl add 1/2 cup honey , 1/4 cup vinegar and 1/2 cup water, mix well, add meat and marinate several hours. This is one rub you’ll want to keep close at hand to rub in or sprinkle on most anything.

Ingredients: Rosemary, Fennel, Oregano, Black Pepper, Marjoram, Sage, Coriander, Cinnamon, Cumin, Celery Seed, Ginger, Crushed Red Pepper, Pure Cane Sugar, Brown Sugar, Sea Salt, Garlic, Onion, Dill Weed, Parsley , Lemon Zest and a lot of love
